A Pop-Up That Blends Brand, Storytelling & Community

On June 14th and 15th, 2025, Yutori Spaces in Bangalore’s CBD turned into a live styling studio for Nish Hair, the hair extension brand founded by actor-entrepreneur Parul Gulati.

Born from Parul’s on-screen needs, Nish Hair was created to offer Indian women high-quality, damage-free, easy-to-use hair extensions. Frustrated by the lack of good options in the market, she launched the brand in 2017 — and the response was electric.

What started as a solution quickly turned into a movement. Not through massive ad budgets, but through authentic storytelling and product trust.

The Shark Tank India Effect

Her appearance on Shark Tank India (Season 2) gave Nish Hair a boost in visibility and credibility. Her confidence and clarity won hearts and investment — showing the country what a mission-led D2C brand can look like.

Why Pop-Up Stores Work — Especially for D2C Brands

In today’s digital domination, pop-up experiences bring back the human touch.

They allow customers to feel the product, ask questions, and build real trust in real time. This phygital model is especially powerful for online-first brands looking to connect with their communities.

The Yutori Advantage: Stage That Enables The Brand Storytelling

At Yutori, we design spaces like a painter selects a canvas. Every detail — lighting, layout, mirrors, flow — contributes to the story a brand is trying to tell.

For Nish Hair, we created a light-filled, welcoming environment with styling stations, soft backdrops, and open space for community interaction.

What Made This Pop-Up Work

1. Pop-ups as Trial Rooms:

For product-led brands, a well-designed retail experience can turn curiosity into confidence — and conversions.

2. Founder Presence = Loyalty:

Parul didn’t just appear — she styled visitors, answered questions, and built personal connections that no digital campaign could replicate.

3. Space Must Match Brand Energy:

The aesthetic of Yutori Spaces mirrored Nish Hair’s vibe — modern, approachable, and empowering. It wasn’t just logistics. It was brand alignment.

Who Walked In — And Why It Mattered

Over 300+ visitors came through the doors in two days — brides-to-be, stylists, medical hair loss survivors, and curious new customers. Many were styled by Parul herself. Sales were strong, feedback was instant.

This collaboration between Nish Hair and Yutori Spaces proved a simple truth:

The right space doesn’t just support the brand — it does the storytelling for the brand.

In a world driven by clicks, true connection happens face-to-face. And that’s exactly what our spaces are designed to do.
